Deputy Director Kuhl Joins Community To Celebrate Hunterdon Business Owners New 7-Eleven Location


On Thursday, August 24th, Deputy Director Jeff Kuhl offered his congratulations at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the newly located 7-Eleven store at, 268 U.S. Highway 202 at Commerce Street in Flemington. The franchise is owned by Rohan and Kunjan Patel. Deputy Director Kuhl was joined for the celebration by Raritan Township leaders, business and community neighbors, and members of the Junior Red Devils Cheer team.


“I would like to congratulate the Patel family on their ownership and renovation of this 7-Eleven franchise. I am happy to see the much-needed improvements and updates to this fueling station and convenience store. Family-owned businesses in Hunterdon County are the heart of our community and I encourage residents to come out and support all small businesses in the county,” shared Deputy Director Kuhl.


The Patel family is proud to be Hunterdon Business owners. As part of the grant funds awarded for the refurbishment of the 7-Eleven, the Patel’s awarded a check in the amount of $711.00 to the Junior Red Devils Cheer squad. These funds will be utilized by the squad to benefit upcoming training events.




Deputy Mayor of Raritan Township, Scott Sipos and Township Committee Member, Scott Macdade, presented a proclamation to Rohan and Kunjan Patel in honor of the grand opening.
