The Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners recognized Janet Maddalena of Maddalena’s Cheesecake and Catering, who has been a staple of Hunterdon County for 40 years; at the April 15th Commissioner Board Meeting.
Maddalena’s originally opened their doors as a catering business in Flemington, they sold cheesecake to raise capital; with the owners Gene and Janet initially offering four flavors of cheesecake in April of 1982.
Cheesecake sales quickly became a huge success.
Maddalena’s now offering 12 different flavors of Cheesecake including seasonal flavors.
Maddalena’s Cheesecake has become a household name in Hunterdon County over four decades and has been nationally recognized on the Food Network and Cooking Channel
The Hunterdon County Board of County Commissioners extends its best wishes and congratulations to Maddalena’s Cheesecake and Catering on the occasion of their 40th Anniversary!
