Kuhl, the county’s Division of Seniors, Disabilities and Veterans’ Services liaison, said, “For 48 years the county has held the art show for seniors and encouraged participation. Eligible seniors, sixty and over, are represented in both professional and nonprofessional categories.”

Submissions include photography, acrylics, mixed media, oils, pen and ink, pastels, sculpture and watercolors.

“Artwork from the senior community is currently on display for everyone to enjoy before sending first place winners to the New Jersey Senior Citizen Art Show for their judging and competition,” Kuhl continued.

“I have heard from many of our seniors about how much they value the county’s senior center and its programs. I look forward to being creatively engaged in continuing and increasing that value and encourage everyone to check out the art show,” Kuhl concluded.

Tours on Friday, after 12, do not need an appointment, but anyone interested in touring another day, or before 12 on Fridays, should call 908-788-1361 to make an appointment.
